Shipping, Pick-up & Returns

Shipping Policy

All orders are shipped out from Tokyo, Japan to our warehouse in Winterthur and we ship directly from there. The duration of shipping from Japan to Switzerland can take up to two weeks.

 

All product which are in Winterthur available in stock, are shipped by Swiss Post with the following shipping options:

For shipping in Switzerland:

Economy shipping (CHF 8.00): around 2 - 3 business days 

Priority shipping (CHF10.00): around 1 - 2 business days

Priority shipping with Signature (CHF 12.00): around 1 - 2 business days. By choosing this option your parcel is delivered to you in exchange of your signature. Should you not be available at the time of the delivery, Swiss Post leaves a yellow slip in your post box, that you can present at your local post office to get your parcel.

For international shipping, the price is calculated according to their weight.

Please note that shipping times are impacted by customs processing times in your specific country that are out of our control.

We are not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)

​

Little Japan is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We therefore recommend choosing the signature option to make sure the package is delivered to you directly.

I passed my order today. When will it arrive?

Thank you for your order! Usually we gather the shipment orders in a monthly cycle (end of the month).

-  If you are ordering products which are available in stock then we'll send it out the very next working day after the payment is confirmed.

-  If you are pre-ordering products which need to be shipped from Japan, it will approximately arrive in Winterthur at the end of the following month. Afterwards we will ship it directly to you.

- If you are ordering in-stock AND pre-order products together, we will ship everything out at once when the pre-order products arrive. Please let us know if you would like to have 2 shipments separately for the in-stock products first and pre-order products later. We cover one shipping per order for order from CHF 80.00, for the second shipment you can choose the shippind methods from above.

Pick-up

I hate to wait and pay for delivery, can I pick up the package myself?

No problem! You can pick up your order in 8400 Winterthur.

Return & Exchange Policy

Cancellations, Returns and Damages

Can I return a product?

We accept unopened and unused products, should you want to return an item. Please note, that only the price of the item will be reimbursed in this case – the original shipping charges as well as the return shipping charges will not be refunded. The refund will be processed after we receive the item and check it is intact.

Can I cancel or change an order?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer changes on an order, once the ordered products are shipped out from Japan. However, if you have just placed an order and realized you took the wrong item or would like to cancel or change an item, please contact us right away at Asklittlejapan@gmail.com, so we can help you adjusting the order.

I received a damaged or wrong item, what do I do?

Oh no! We are sorry about this situation! Please send us an e-mail with the picture of the wrong or damaged item via Asklittlejapan@gmail.com. We will help you from there!
